En | "48 piglets were used backyard in the initiation phase with average live weight of 6.34 kg backyard sows from commercial crossing (Duroc, Landrace, Yorkshire, Hampshire).Evaluating four treatments with three replicates of four pigs each. Each repetition considered an experimental unit. The witness was the T1 without Nupro (SN) without yolk (SY), T2 without Nupro (SN) with Yolk (CY), T3 with Nupro (CN) without yolk (SY) and T4 with Nupro (CN) with Yolk (CY).To statistically analyze the results of the variables, feed intake, daily gain, feed conversion, protein efficiency ratio and backfat; zoometric measures (height at withers, length tuberosities, chest circumference); bodies each animal used a completely randomized design with a factorial arrangement 2x2. There was significant difference (P <0.05) daily weight gain for the use of egg yolk, Nupro and their interaction. For daily consumption was no significant difference (P <0.05) with the use of egg yolk.Feed conversion was different (P <0.05) with the interaction of egg yolk and Nupro. We also found significant difference (P <0.05) protein efficiency ratio in the interaction of egg yolk and Nupro. The carcass characteristics of pigs no significant difference (P> 0.05) for any of the variables. There was significant difference (P <0.05) for height at withers interaction with egg yolk and Nupro. For chest diameter difference was not significant for any of the treatments.Tuberosities in length significant difference (P <0.05) with the use of egg yolk, Nupro and interaction. The dorsal fat level had no significant effect (P> 0.05) for any of the treatments. In the weights of the stomach and gastrointestinal tract in pigs. No significant difference (P> 0.05) for any of the variables studied blood, lungs, heart, spleen, liver and kidneys in swine rations providing egg yolk antibody (Igy) and Nupro"
